Gene Howards 1950 Buick

I was looking through some craigslist ads and it seems Gene Howards 50 Buick custom is for sale for $80,000, just thought it was neat. Which one of you cats are going to buy it?

I'd like to see it restored back to it's first incarnation when it was purple. I don't think it will get a buyer for near that amount though. I know Gene was glad to see it back on the show circuit before he died.

 

I completely agree it looked the best when it first went under the torch. As for the price, I don't think it will get close to that, however it truly is a unique piece of Kustom history, kudos to the new owner whoever it may be!
