Not sure who "sells them" but I know Mach 3 was "Reversere Engineering" the Cragar 371 sbc last year for a customer in So Cal. Saw a repop on a car in Austin at the Revolution built by Foose.

Here she is......who ever owns it may give you some better insight. I would like to get one as well .

  8. I talked to Bobby Walden after posting this, they have the 4-71 stuff ready, it is exact duplicate, interchangeable with original parts. The 6-71 will be next, it will look exactly the same from the outside, but have stronger guts in it. There should be pictures on their website next week or two.

    Any talk about prices?

  10. I think around $2500 for the 4-71. Maybe less for the 6-71 as it will use mor commonly available guts.

The coupe built by Foose has a chopped Walden Speed Shop body and the Cragar blower and blower drive are from Bobby Walden, also. I know that he has been working on this project for over a year and soon to release it to the public. He has also built a prototype Walden/Cragar 4-71 with V pulleys for a Buick Nailhead! All of the Cragar blower components will interchange with the original drives so if you are missing something Walden can supply you with what you need. Walden Speed Shop is your Cragar 4-71 Blower Drive Source

    Thank you,
    Bobby Walden

Is that $2500.00 for a complete ready to run 4-71 blower? Or just the drive, pulleys, plates, etc?

Wow - Just saw this - super cool stuff. Unbelievable the amount of talent required to do that!

    Wow... Very Nice....

Considering a run of the mill blower drive set up would run you approximately $1,500 I don't think $2,500 is too bad ; considering the limited call for this drive, limited sales and the talent required to manufacture the parts, and will interchange with the originals...

  23. He didn't quote me a price this time, I just remember what he told me months ago. But that would only be the drive, pulleys and plates. If you can find a complete 4-71 blower, ready to run, with ANY kind of drive, I'd sure like to see it!

Looks like very nice stuff. I like the re-purposing of a Harley Davidson kick starter return spring on the belt tensioner.

  25. Is he going to repop the Cragar 4-71 for 49-62 Caddy intake? They are currently over a grand if you can find them!!
Looks like he did a nice job of repoping the early Vet 9 fin covers!!! LOL

It is possible that is where the OEM sourced it too. Here's an original:
