    Alex-
Are you still going to look for those seats tomorrow for us?
    Fabric is the preference.
    Thanks,

Rick, very nice Birthday present for Pete.
P.S. Picked up my new chassis yesterday, now the build begins.

Hope to see you soon at Parker.

  14. Rick-
I will find out this afternoon! I'm doing some honey-dos in the morning, and I'll be free this afternoon. If they are vinyl, is that a show-stopper? The car was white with a blue interior. I'm think that because of their age, you'll have to re-upholster no matter what. Does your phone accept pictures?

I would prefer fabric but vinyl may be OK.
My phone does accept pictures. 626-622-4488.

    Thanks everyone!
Because of the response, Thom Taylor said he would redo the artwork so we could use it on a shirt.

Finally, I'm going over to Pete's to measure for the drive shaft this morning. The throttle pedal is complete also. As you know it is all the little things that take the most time. The Hurst line lock was delivered Friday and will be installed this week when the brake lines are finished.
I find it amusing that they now call it "roll control" and "launch control". Isn't one name enough?

  28. Rick-
Sorry the seat thing didn't pan out yesterday, but I'll continue to look for a good pair. I have a couple of other spots I can check, and I'll keep you posted. Finding a pristine set will be tough, though.

Sorry about the rapid-fire text messages last night. I was getting bombarded by 4 different people last night at the same time, and I'm not a quick texter. I shot off one to you that was in capitals (It read: NO) that wasn't supposed to go to you. My son asked me a question and before I could finish it, your text came in and when I hit OK, it sent the kid's text to you!

Whenever you're ready to do the lettering, call Brad. The original sedan was one of his (and mine) all-time favorite hot-rods, and he would love to do the new car. He was busy pinstriping a buddy's '32 chassis last night, and he was commenting on how cool your car was and how it was very influential to him back then. Hot Rodding was in a real weird place back in the late '70s, kinda between the Resto-Rod movement and the Billet Movement, and that sedan knocked everybody for a loop. It proved that you didn't have to have mega-bucks into a car to have fun.
