I got some of the headlights a couple of years back on fleabay without rings and need one to make a plaster mold of to cast new one/s, even if you would let me wax one of yours and make a quickie bondo mold I could get a usable pattern out of that. Thanks, any help greatly appreciated.

someone is making new rings, a couple years ago i had a set of buckets i sold at the L.A. roadster show missing the rings, sold them cheap figuring i'd never find the rings. later in the day i went for a walk around the swap meet and a few rows over a guy had a little display with the first rings he'd made and was taking orders. i kicked myself for selling the the light earlier in the day.

unfortunetly i don't have his contact info but someone on here probably does, oh yeah if i remember right the rings he was making were machined not cast and you could get them either natural, polished or a sand blasted kinda finnish.

Yes someone i had contacted a year or so ago mentioned the guy cnc ing them---- aword about the Juarez mexico ones on ebay----Ther's no way i can see making those useful with any amount of work,, all that stuff--I saw those parts at the Pate swapmeet at the racetrack north of Ft Worth, sort of was supposed to resemble a copy of what ever the origonal part was-a finned W motor valve cover, it all looked like a total waste of effort to sanc cast with No accounting for part shrinkage when they cooled.

I've got a pair myself without rings. Did you ever find the guy that is reproducing the rings? Thanks, Ron
