When you are replacing the tags on a set of headlights how do you set the rivets like the set in the picture. Is there any tools I should look into?

I sell the tags with rivets. Click on this link for my add. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=655642&highlight=guide+headlight+tags If you use the original style rivets they are tubular rivets which means they are hollow in the end. (check the picture in the link ) You can use just about any tapered pin punch to spread the rivet but they do make a punch set for the rivets. I think I gave about $40.00 for mine. Its a whole lot easier if you have an extra set of hands. Good luck. You can contact me if you need any more info. Rick

    I don't do pics.
I modified a pair of "C" clamp style ViseGrips for this very purpose. Drill a dimple in one jaw, and saw off as much as you need to on the other jaw to get it up in there.

I set them verrrrrry gently with my 3X gun and a pinned bucking bar. Use the tooling for flush rivets. The one I have is poly coated from YardStore.com.
