My dad and I were on our way to look at a O/T truck this morning in NC , and afterwards , We decided to call a guy that had a '66 Impala wagon for sale in Roanoke , VA , well , we just programmed his address in the GPS , asked for the fastest route , and this thing took us across so many goat path roads , I thought we would never find our way home , we actually found a way off of fancy Gap mountain , that doesn't involve either rt.77 or rt.52 (those around this region will understand and appreciate that move) it was literally a one lane road goat path that was paved , anyway , we came thru this little community , and low and behold , Vintage tin on both sides of the road , just setting there , nobdy was home , but , I got the address off of the mailbox , along with a name , I WILL be back there soon , here's some pics , enjoy....
wow! i hope the guy parts with some if not all of it! good luck! they all look pretty killer. id nab the truck in a heart beat!!
Be carefull how you ask them about selling them i live in east tenn and most around here will meet you with a shotgun ****** off there land!!!!
It wouldn't matter to me where it was, I wouldn't be roaming around somebodies place. Good way to get shot. If I come home and there's a strange car in the drive I block the drive, I live in the woods so there's no way around me, until I find why they are here.
Well, the pics were taken from the road , and I went and knocked on the door , I don't mess with anyones stuff either .
Garmin , I would have chosen a different path in the beginning , but I sure was glad that it led me here in the end...
Just exactly what are you tryin to imply here man? , remember , if you aren't there you cant attest to anything , enjoy the pics and leave it at that , it wasn't your place , or your stuff...
Great story, great find. Glad to know there are still places where people can have cars and trucks without the authorities and thieves running off with it all. You gonna try and deal for the Suburban? Best of luck, man! Please update your thread later, if so. Thanks for sharing.
