Trying to make some changes to the hotrod before Detroit Autorama this year. Got a 32 grill chopped down, and need to fix a few things but have been thinking of some different headers. The sprint car headers sound awesome but i think they need to go. Been looking alot a lake headers but then i started looking at zoomies as well. Lake headers would have turnouts, zoomies would be simple 1 bend swept. Hopefully get headers sorted out for autorama then might think of other things for spring. Looking for some input or inspiration or other comments.
In my opinion, Zoomies on a street car just look wrong. That car would be slick with a set of lake headers.

do some lake headers with no turn outs. just let them run like a scalded dog. all the noise of zoomies with the sleek look of lakesters
Ha, i like your honesty. I fixed the photos. I need to get some better riding tires though. Another thought is instead of messing with the exhaust is to get some new bigs and little's.
honestly.(just my opinion and i dont mean anything by it as u have a cool lil car.. the look is there,.those fenderwell headers dont look to bad...),,but if it were mine all i would focus on is ; change valve covers/air cleaner,hide the alt or swap for a gen..bias plie big n lil's on o.e. type wheels and then go for the lake headers...looking rad as is!
