Louisville Swap Meet

I heard about a swap meet at the National Guard Armory in Louisville, KY Saturday, Jan. 14.

Does anybody out there know what time it starts, etc.?

Vendors at 6 A.M. Buyers at 8 A.M. Not real big swap meet, but great for local meet and greet. Falls City Model A Club 2729 Crittenden Drive behind the Cracker Barrel by the fairgrounds

it usually starts around 8 to o'clock. I'd get there early cause the good stuff goes quick

 

I know that area very well. Born and raised in Louisville. Does a lot of old parts show up at those swap meets?

A couple of my friend's Dads used to be in the Okolona Street Rods back then. Are they still around? Bob and Danny Taylor still striping cars?

Is it mostly Model A oriented or is there newer stuff from the 50s and 60s?

 

Just so you guys know, this swap meet has been moved to Paroquet Conference center in Sheperdsville on Jan 11th. Tim

 

Went a few years ago. Almost all of the swap meet was Model A parts.

 

the big swapmeet is at the state fair grounds. probably in March
