Here are a few models I have gotten from e-bay this year. AMT 59 Buick, Jo-Han 55, 56 Pontiacs, 56 Olds. Some grille packs. 2 Monogram 32 Ford Sport coupes 1/20 th scale. Revell 57 Cadillac and the holy grail, Ideal 56 Lincoln Continental 1/20 th scale. If I was good at resin casting, I would make some castings of this thing and sell them. I have it mocked up with some 1/18 die cast 48 Cadillac wheels and tires to see how it would look. I almost got all the models I wanted when I was a kid. :D

Amazing models and I love the color of that 57 Chevy. Here's a W.I.P. of an 1/8 scale Dirt Latemodel Stock car I'm scratch building.[IMG]

Some nice work today! Old Sprinter, that frame is really impressive! How do you keep that ****er straight and true during ***embly? fat141, the dumpster idea is really cool and well-executed. Don't forget to foil the vent window frames on the '57!

Finally got the gold masked and shot on my Watson-tribute '59 T-bird....

that blue '57; is it built from one of the old Revell kits with the opening doors and trunk? if so, that's one outstanding build... if not, it's still a beauty.

I had this model when I was a Kid, wait a minute, I'm still a Kid (old one though); Tom Daniel's model kit...I forget the name, is it "Circus Wagon" or "Dragon Wagon"? Well anyways, I always wanted to sketch my version of this kit. Someday.

There's nothing quite like ebay for projects. Here's a built '40 Ford that came in a bubble envelope from one of ebays brighter sellers.

Fortunately, I was really good with jigsaw puzzles as a kid. And yes, I got a refund from the seller. Now I got a good start for a great "sitting and rotting" model.

So the '59 Buick was an original AMT kit? Great find! And the Continental mock-up looks perfect, I wouldn't change a thing.
Hope to see more pix of those two sometime down the road!

TerrytheK, I got all these old models that I'm saving back for when I run out of money to build the real ones or after I get a couple more on the road. I use to build all the time when I was a kid, even use to enter contests and all. But they take total concentration , and my brains ****tered all over the place now, lol. I got more than I can finish now.If I do anything you guys will be seeing it first!

Man that copper paint job on the 57 could not look any sweeter. The dark blue convertible is a beaut too. The Watson job on the 58 T-bird is coming along fantastic too.

I showed my Pontiac 421 a few weeks back. It's home will be a 62 Catalina. Here's a couple more progress shots.

Great find Cory. I love the Buick. I keep hoping Revell/Momogram will tool up a new version of both a '59 and a '60 version, drop top and the bubbled types. The trio of coupes looks great too.

froghawk, the T'bird is looking amazing!

Alyn, I'm loving the Cat! The Injector detail is pure artistry and the chop top and stance are spot on!

Thanks for all the cool work all and to fat141 for kicking it off with that dumpster full of worthless parts ( :D )

    ps: emoticons are goofy...

Sorry my mistake (and I make many) should have said from the start.
The blue Chevie is 1.16 scale and is an old AMT/ERTL kit:)
    Hope that helps
