any shots of street cars on the strip? cars that were driven to the track and HOPEFULLY back home. i would really like to see them. mine went 11.70 @ 127 first time out. i cant wait till spring to see what it will run with the changes that i made.
Here is my daily driver. 10.90s at 125. Sounds like you need some traction...127 mph should get you deep into the tens with a decent 60 foot. Maybe you could drive her to the HAMB Drags next year?? See ya, -Abone.
To me...doesn't get any better than this. My high school chum ordered his '69 Nova SS new from Felix Chev in LA. Got it home, hopped it up and went to Lions. He has the car today with aroud 43k miles on it.

Yes 67 have owned and driven this car on the street for over 20 years. The plan for next "battle at the hill" Is a set of slicks
@dirtbag 54 that should pick it up. they are very traction limited with street tires. @squirrel heres the 55 that im sick over. i tryed predetor carbs first. POS but went to 1050 dom and ran like a scalded dog.
My ch***is is not hamb friendly (but I am fixing that, see avatar) I drove 12 miles to the track and ran 9.71 @ 140 mph through the mufflers on dot mickey thompsons et street tires and drove back home.
I have a friend who has a 55 Chevy. OT. Tube ch***is,gl*** body. That he drives on the street, it runs 7.40s at 190 mph. He drives it to local shows around town
