Hi Guys, Just singed up to this website.. So far looks really good and happy to be here..... Anyways I'm 22 and own a 1948 Ford F1 which I picked up this pass summer.. The P/O said he could never get it to start..Well after the whole summer I got it running and drove it around..Still a ton of work but I picked it up for a few bills ($100s)... Also got a clean title for it in my name.. So now the real work starts... It needs a new water and the floor pans fix and ect... But she runs on her own power... Here are a few pics of the old girl......

P.S ill be keeping the flathead 6 cyl, and frame.. No need to change what can be fixed and damn she runs under her own power.. I'd be a dumb a$$ to change every thing around to get just a little more speed.. This old truck did everything that was needed in 1948 and can out work any truck of today.. Hell the gears and trans worked will and didn't make any noise..... shes my baby (Just dnt tell my girlfriend ;-) haha)

Wow back in 1969 I found an F-1 panel truck that I bought for $25.00 it was in the same condtion your truck is in the same type of grill and fender damage and it also had the lights mounted on top of the fenders. Working on and driving that truck was so cool I learned so much keeping it running. Still have the flathead from that truck along with a few other parts. Having an F-1 of your own to learn with is priceless good luck.
