I have finally joined the H.A.M.B. because I'm a car nut--attracted to older cars-- who learned to drive in a '29 Model A coupe and a '36 Ford five window. First car owned was a mint '50 Plymouth sedan dropped 3" in front, Fiesta hubcaps, mild pinstriping. Fifty plus cars later it's a '37 Ford station wagon under restoration that's keeping me busy, body off, frame ready, flathead 8BA with Winfield R-1 cam, big valves ready to drop in. Have owned a chopped '41 Ford coupe and a couple customs as well. Did a club newsletter for a few years, have a decent library of car magazines from the late 1940's on. Sweat equity in all of my personalized cars over the years? Yes, lots of it. FoMoCo, Mopar, Crosley, a couple GM's have p***ed through the garage over the years.
