34 ford pickup

    34 ford pickup cab. When I place the cab on the frame the front mounts look like they bolt directly to the frame. But the 8 carriage bolts on the floor look like they need some sort of spacer. Am I correct if so what were they made of? Wood? Rubber? How thick? Where can I get them? Bob drake? dennins carpenter? Thanks guys.

    They are wood. I forget how many pieces trere are but I think you can get them at MAC`s.

    Mine are wood originally, they appear to be 1 1/4 inch thick. I don't know who sells them,I'm making mine off the originals that were on the truck. Mark

    The front bolts to frame, the kit has 6 pieces of wood, macs or c&g should have the wood kits.

    The body blocks from mac's is part number V78029A and $117. Macsauotparts.com.

    You could use hockey pucks, Ive seen people use them.
