Please educate me on the dash knobs for a 41 chevy. The chrome ones with the copper inserts. I bought a set of handles from -bay and they arrived. NICE all metal and really nice. The knobs came in from chevsofthe40s and they look like ****. Plastic?!?!?! Is this normal. Are the originals plastic? If not where an I buy the metal ones. I am putting these into my 55 chevy truck. Thanks
I own a 41 pick up and indeed they are plastic. I believe chevys of the 40's is a supplier of NOS reproductions. I have owned many late 40's and early 50's chevys, they all had the plastic knobs.
Good to know. Thank you. The knobs are nice looking, but matched up alongside the handles they are not so nice.
