Eddie is one of my all time heros. Im just a young dumb kid but I have read his autobiography a few times over again and everytime I am blown away from what he did in his lifetime. The guy was into going fast ever since he was a little kid. If you ever get a chance, read the book!

My aunt lived in Sheridan, MT and her neighbor had collected a large number of old cars. He had a '25 or '26 Rickenbacker sedan in excellent, unrestored condtion. The Rickenbacker was kept in a machine shed along with a couple of other Model T's, etc. Unfortunately, most of his other cars sat outdoors with predictable results. My aunt died a number of years ago as did the neighbor ... I often wondered what became of his cars. I lived 1,000 miles away at the time and so was not available when the collection was sold.
