I did a search and could not find anything on this. So being a rookie, I am asking for some help. I like the seat height of the S10 seat, but it is not as wide as the stock seat. Has anyone cut one of these to fit their car. Pics would help. I have not removed the seat cover yet to look at it.
    Thanks in Advance,

  2. Would be a lot easier to just go get a G-body (Monte Carlo, etc.) or even a full size (Caprice, etc.) mid-80s seat for it. They'll fit and have relatively flat mounts that should adapt easy. Plus you can find them split bench and with power if you want.

I think the height of the back section would be to short for your 51.....

..I put a rear-most Astro-van seat in my 48 Fleetline, fit great, early ones don't have headrests, also 2nd seat from full-size Suburbans mite work, about the same size seat.

thx Rusty ... I decided not to use the s10 seat ... the factory seat was a better choice ... I just realized that I was missing the lower trim ... was hoping to find the trim ... Thx for all the help ... Gadget
