Any one have any pics of what that looks like and how the hood is? I have a 30-1 coupe but any pics of a channeled A with hood sides will work!!! thanks
has the hood been lengthened on that sedan? Im wondering if I pinch the rails if that would be doable so as to not have to cut the hood? although Im sure it would create exhaust/steering box interference? thanks s**** metal 48, any one else?
I don't have picture to show of it, but a batch of us built a channeled coupe with a hood for ElPolacko's dad Lenn1/2fast about 7 or 8 years ago. It belong to some one here on the H.A.M.B. that doesn't post very often, but maybe he will see this and post. Worked out very nicely, but we did end up cutting the hood sides to kick up over the rails. If you did pinch the rails forward of the firewall say in the style of the Doanne Spencer deuce or Rolling Bones cars, I see no problem with running the full hood sides.
thanks guys, jj, that roadster is amazing, the truck looks to be a little more user friendly though with the bead along the bottom, thats a pretty trick piece! I guess its a good think lon gave us that fancy pantsy bead roller so any one gotta coupe out there?
The wheel base was extended about 4" due to the spring mounted on the wishbones........ After I sold it, it was chopped, painted satin yellow and shipped to Sweden I believe.......
Here are some pictures of mine channeled model A, its a total modified 33-34 truck hood sides. Nicklas.
Adam M, that's it..... If you go to; 'The mother of all chopped threads' and go to p13 there are pics of the chop and the guy who painted it yellow....
heres mine. i dont have a picture of the driver side right now. i have an F-1 box and i moved the hood latch and the trim line on the hood further back around the steering arm
