Does anyone out there know the difference between a 32 Ford rear truck fender and a 33-34? I had one fender and bought another one from Speedway and they don't match. In fact it is completely different. The fender I already had is clearly labeled LR 33-34 PU and it has a 1" mounting flange at the rear. The one from Speedway is a LR 32-34 PU and the flange is about 1 3/4". Never mind that the two fenders are totally different in other ways too.
I've been told that the 32's are different but if thats the case how can Speedway sell one for all three years. I would check but I'm still in parts gathering mode.
    Thanks for the help.

I seem to remember the only difference being the height of the "notch" on the inside front of the fender.

  4. The distance between the holes where they bolt to the frame above the running board are difference 32's the holes are close together and the 33-34 are wider apart and the hole pattern where they bolt to the bed is different and the arch of the fenders are different because the body bead on the side of the bed is different . If you try to use 33-34 fenders on a 32 bed then the fender does not go inside of the body bead . I have a pair of 33-34 fenders i will trade for 32's

I saw a NOS fender at a swap last summer that I would have sworn was a '32 Ford pickup. Turned out to be a '30 Chevy. Maybe you don't have a 33-34 Ford fender.

The 33/34 pickup fenders have a shorter radius at the rear then that
of the 32. The 32 continues on another half inch + until it appears
almost flat. When You see them together, it's easy to see. Hope this
    help.

I think the key word here is "Speedway". My experience has been that they are a source for some parts but if you need things that have a critical fit or need to match original parts I am very skeptical of them. As you have said they are advertising the part for 32, 33, & 34 models and several people are saying here that they are not the same.

Yes they are fiber gl***, and I must make a correction the 33-34 is LR and the 32-34 is RR, I was trying to get two that matched. Steel is out of my price range.
