Doing some wiring on the T and have some questions. The ignition switch is on the seat riser under the seat, kinda hard to get to so I thought I would put a "kill" switch on the dash that was easy to get to if I had to shut down the engine in a hurry. In the wire going to the + of the coil I put a toggle switch in (the "racing" kind that has the red cover you use to shut it off...) on the back of the switch on the post going to the coil I also fed power to a light as a reminder that the switch is on. Went to crank the engine and the light "pulses", don't have the engine running right now so dont know but will the light pulse when the engine is running? I could probably deal with it while cranking but think it would get old while the engine is running...
Did I wire this up wrong?? Anything different I should be doing?? thanks-

Might just be pulsing from the drain of the starter. My guess is it will stop when the engine/alternator is running.

If you use an LED type lamp it shouldn't show the pulsing. As the previous poster said, it may just be the voltage fluctuating due to the starter load.

It shouldn't pulse but I wonder if you have it hooked up wrong.

does the wire from the light go to ground? You might check and see exactly how the switch is supposed to be wired to make the light work right. Right now it may be grounding though the ignition.
