Exactly what the ***le says. I removed this door arm rest from my 55 chevy door panel 7 years ago and found it again today when I was cleaning out the garage. I am wondering if this was stock? Was this from another car? Custom made? Any ideas? Here is a pic! Thanks J
Kind of hard to tell from the upholstery, but it looks like it might be a tri five Bel Air arm rest to me. They were built into the door panels.
must have been back in the 70s when the "***** house" style upholstery was in! hahaha, i think its super rad!
That is the funniest thing I have heard in weeks man! lolololololol I have a rear seat that is covered in the same material too. I wouldn't want to put a black light on that seat! lolololol Guys! I thought that it was a 55 chevy arm rest but wasn't sure because I couldn't find a pic of a stock looking one! I tried to google pics of one but all I got were pics of small "c" shaped ones that are about 14 inches long. Anyone got a pic of what this might have looked like without the "***** House" Upholstery on it? lolololol
There we go! Thanks man! Definatley looks nicer than my velour covered one! Any idea how much these are? Do they repop these? I am thinking I am going to ebay the one that I have just to move it on down the road! J
The internet is a amazing thing if one chooses to look for anything. There must be a dozen places selling repop tri-five parts. This search took less than a minute. http://www.cl***icchevy.com/chevy-a...n-bel-air-1955.html?crosssell=Product_Related http://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/fbshopmain2.asp?hid=T11AZ76213&trk=3 The Ciadella ones are $189.00
I did pull back the fury stuff. Old black vinyl and under that it is that original steel core. So I guess to my knowledge the car has had at least three interiors in it. 1. Original. 2. Oldschool black vinyl, 3. ***** house! As for me I haven't put one in yet. Hey man are you creeping me? You ready to party in D town? J
heh I'm running the little 150/210 arm rest in my belair, but only on the p*** side. Driver side would hit the roll bar.
Looks like the same material that my door/side panels/rear deck were covered in my 56 210 2 dr hdtp that was from Monteray Bay area
hell yeah ill take it! i have a friend that had a 66 ford fairlane with full upholstery like that, i laughed my *** off everytime i got in the ****in car. Other then being *** ugly it was probably one of the most comfortable cars i have ever been in!
