Old sprint car

Hi, I am new to the form. My son and I just purchased a 1940s sprint car (barn find) we are looking for parts and history. Hope to have the car going some time next year.

Thanks for the input, yes this is the car we purchased. Hope it also looks good behind our 35 pickup.
