I need a drum/drum power master cylinder... I put a chevy master cylinder/booster in my lincoln but i'm only running it off of the drum port. I need to know what chevy cars had dual drum master cylinders so I can order one from rock auto.

    thanks guys!

found one for a 68 caprice (w/Manual or Power Drum Brakes; Bore = 1")

would that work? not sure why it says manual or drum? does that just mean you can use it with or without the booster?

I looked at that part on rock auto. Looks like it is for POWER OR MANUAL brakes where drums are used. The small 1 inch bore is right for drum brakes. What size bore is the origional LINCOLN master?

The 69 Chevelle I had had 4 wheel drums with power brakes. You can give that info to parts guy. Oh ya, since they want so much info now, V8 307 with a Power Glide

Stop This just came to mind. Does your booster have a very short rod that goes into the M/C or a long rod?

it has a short rod. I just need to know what set up to get. The original brake system was that treadle-vac thing.. Ive heard bad things about it.
Ive heard of people just using the disc/drum MC with a proportioning valve for drum/drum set ups...

Ok, you can not use a manual/power M/C. There bore deepth is to deep and the brakes will be so damn touchy it's dangeres. The booster cant not meter correctly. Any 1" bore power GM power M/C will work with a shollow dimple on the piston. Even if its for Disc/Drum combo.
