hello id like to see some vintage pics of EDGEWATER in cincinnati i love all the vintage shots of the california tracks in the drag cars in motion thread and ive seen a few that were taken at edgewater in there but there has to be more from there didnt NHRA used to run a national event at edgewater? also if you have any pics from tri- state dragway in hamilton ohio id love to see them also the first time i was at either track was like 1987 not only do i want to see the cars id like to see if/how the tracks have changed if at all im kinda big on local history heck id even like to see street scenes from in and around the area if anybody has those kinds of pics thanks in advance
Do a search for bill redman floyd.....lots of cool old shots. There used to be a bunch of old stuff on usadragchat in cleons section.....but they had some issue and lost them....

Not quite HAMB material, but here is my brother carrying the front wheel on his '72 Kawasaki H1 500 triple at Edgewater about 1974. He did quite well there, IIRC, holding the track record in his cl*** for a while before moving to Florida in the late 70's. The bike still sits in his living room, resting in a place of honor. He would bring it out occasionally for a few "vintage bike night" events in Jacksonville. Sadly he p***ed away two weeks ago while sleeping in his easy chair just a few feet away from his beloved bikes. RIP David
