I did a 350 into my 63 olds holiday very simular to your car<I'm still not done>. how did your mounts come out and header clearance?

 

Whatever gets it on the road. They're meant to enjoy! Sure, a 401 would be nice but I know it's more expensive and harder to find parts for. You've got a nice running and driving car there. That's all that matters.

 

X2. Not every old car has to have a nailhead, Olds, or hemi in it. One that you are planning on driving a lot makes so much sense to go with a sbc for all the obvious reasons. If someone *****es, tell them to put a Buick in theirs.
