Hot Rods '40 Ford pickup bed recommendations

Does anyone have a suggestion on the best complete bed available? I'm looking at Pro's Pic, Northern Cl***ic Trucks and Last Refuge. NCT seems to be the most complete and Pro's Pic looks good, too.
Anyone been there done that?

Mack Hils Inc. makes top notch beds and all the parts required. They got my vote and the craftsmanship is outstanding.

 

if you want to finish this truck in your lifetime stay away from last refuge. mack hils are probably the best option imo tom

I got mine from Northern Cl***ic Trucks, Sterling Heights Mi. 48314
As I recall, He owns the stamping dies. I did have to wait but very happy with it. I was able to order it without the center bed rail bracket.
Around $1400 I believe.

NCT makes a nice product

 

This is the one I just used, great product, Only I ordered it from Midwest Early Ford, Brain sells these units from Northern Cl***ic Trucks, but do to Midwest going to many shows, I was able to meet up with him and save $300 in shipping and creating charges.

Thanks for all of the replies. It seems Mack Hils and Northern Cl***ic Trucks are both highly recommended. I called both and the delivered prices are within $275 of each other with Mack Hils being the higher priced. Shipping is a killer out to the People's Republic of California!

I didnt get a bed but I have gotten other panels from Northern and it was all high quality nice stuff and it came in a timely manner

 

Stay away from Last Refuge! That guy is a loser and a liar. Speaking from experience.

 

Voodoo Twin got it right with MAR-K,these guys sell a great product.I've bought 2 complete beds from them,free shipping over $1000 purchase and the beds bolted together with no issues.

 

Mac Hills is a good one, costly but top notch. I have a Pro's Pick bed on my 40 and hate it! I have purchased severl of Macks beds over the years and am always happy with fit and quality.

Northern Cl***ic Truck and Mack Hills are the only ones that make an original style bed. I"ve used both and was happy with both.
Last refuge and pros pick are a generic bed and don't have any of the original lines.
