Putting a 53 bed on a 51 Ford F1 Can I do it easily?

I have a chance to get a real nice 53 Ford bed. Can I put in on my 51 F1? Anyone done this? What surprizes await me? Thanks

 

I know someone who put a complete 53 w/fenders on his 52 (not knowing of course) and the running boards wont fit without cutting and the fenders (front/back) dont match each other with bodylines, thats all i can say, goodluck.

 

There is quite a differance in the two beds mostly fenders and running boards .(JMO not me). But anythang is posable.... Good luck

 

I think the bed is the same, but it's been a while since i played with that stuff
