Just thinking about what I'll use in my '30 Roadster for a gas tank. The stock cowl tank lost its bottom for swing pedals and future electrical things. I'm thinking along the lines of a behind the seat early 1950's Pick Up truck tank with a filler inside the trunk. What have you used or plan to use. Pictures alway are worth a 1,000 words. Bob
A guy in the Houston area used a Chevy Nova tank behind the seat of his 28-29 Roadster. It was, naturally, enclosed in a compartment isolated from passengers and from trunk for safety. I believe the filler was under a subtle door in the upper panel behind the cockpit.
my plan for my coupe Im building is to use a earlys 60s ford truck tank(narrowed) behind the seat just like you said. I think thats a good idea. I dont have any pictures because I havent gotten that far yet.
