doesn't seem to be much in the way of car stuff there anymore. mostly all clothes and chinese tools. won't be going anymore, not worth the time or gas
Forecast says snow, plow and make money or waste money for a hat, and some stupid tool I'll use once.....I'll stay home and make money I guess
It's my understanding that the guy selling the rustic wooden birdhouses has committed to show but they still have a tentative from the beanie baby guy. I'm not really sure if there will be much in the way of car parts...
think i will go for a walk , grab a sub at the pizza place at the end of the road to the parking lot then go to work
If the weathers good, I`ll take a ride Saturday I sold there for over 20 years, but gave up after 2 years ago when my spot cost $125 and I sold $120 in two days !
Same thoughts here...lots of roundy round parts....Chinese junk tools, hardly anything old. Just kind of weird happening. I used to go when I lived near there, but now four hours away so I won't go, not worth it.
It will cost me $50 just to look at parts and that many poor reviews, I think I won't go then. I would rather spend the money on parts.
Any update from today, was thinking of going tomorrow to search for some stuff, but sounds like its been bad in years past - maybe this year was/will be different?
it was a good walk , friend scored a mint pair of 26 T coupe fenders for $425 i scored a cast aluminum finned snorkel scoop for a single 4bbl $80 for my t bucket and a 12 volt oogah horn for $20 its hit or miss pair of welding gloves $5 had fun went to work after ,
You got that right. Out of boredom and "nothing else to do" I went this year after not going for about 8 years. I should have found something more creative to do today. that place is a bust. If you removed the Chinese tools vendors and the die cast sellers, the place would have been empty. What a waste of $$ and time. At least we went to Hooters for lunch after and watched Barrett- Jackson and the cute girls. that made the hours long trip in the snow worthwhile.
Thanks for the report Glenn. I don't feel like I missed any big deals now. 'Cept the lunch scenery........ Ed
there actually wasnt much junk there esterday, no clothing, no beanie babies, etc. It was all mostly car related stuff. We got a bunch of information from various vendors and some metal working tools. We enjoyed the walk around on the snowy day. We're from an hour away so it gave us something to do for the day.
