I am a newbie, been looking around the site for a while but have finally become the proud owner of a 55 Buick special. I am hoping to have some of the knowledge from you guys rub off on me as I go through the build. I am hoping to pick up a 56 322 from a roadmaster to replace the 264. I definitely want to stay nailhead. But I am definitely looking forward to hearing some opinions on mods for the 322 and trans and torque tube vs open driveline conversion. I will start the build thread and post some pictures of the 55 as soon as I can. I have some experience with muscle car era cars but this will be my first 50's project so any insight will be appreciated. I love the traditional/nostalgia hot rods and really enjoy learning from people who know them far better than me.
