dual fours

    I am in the process of making a dual four scoop and nned the demensions from center to center for dual fours.I know manifolds are diffrent I have came across one that was 6 1/2 inches center to center and my hemi is 8 1/2 inches center to center. Can you guys give me some measurements on yours. you wont be disappointed in what i am making. thanks for all the help.

    Not sure what you are asking. You say yours is 8.5 inches, isn't that the dimension you need? My sbf is 6.5 inches.

  4. Sounds like you need to set yours up and measure before you start cutting?

    Customer's FE big block Ford on a engine stand is 8.5 center to center

    Thanks alot for all the answers. What I want to do is make it so it will fit just about all the dual quad manifolds. It will look kind of like the old homes moody scoops for two fours. Thanks "RICHIES"

    Sounds like you are going to incorporate an adjustable plate so you can slide it closer and further to fit a variety of engines. Neat. Pictures when you are done will be great to see.

    FE Low Riser as previously stated 8.5"
    FE High Riser 9.25"
    For info only FE 3X2 10.5"

    If you are trying to do a "one fits all", remember that in addition to carburetor spacing, there are several different air intake diameters on different carburetors.

    Good luck with your project.
