It's getting close: February 4th (setup 12-6) and 5th (6:30-3:30). Still at the Fairgrounds, but with some changes, per the letter sent out. Vendors enter through the main gate ONLY Saturday, and get vendor p***. Unload and move to the back of the buildings. On Sunday you come in the back gate at Craighead and Bransford to byp*** the crush at the one and only front gate entrance. Non-vendor parking is $5.00, hence the backup at the main gate. Exit only through the back gate until the show is over. WTF?? Get there early before Harrison and the Kennedy's get the good stuff! Not to mention Earl Schieb and KB Cookout!
I will be there. Not selling, but buying some stuff I don't really need. I hope there is a guard there to keep the Camaro and Mustang riff raff out.
Vendors only on Sat....but vendors can buy extra p***es for their "helpers" (wink wink, nod nod) SOOoooo.....if you knew a vendor who could get you a p***..... The new parking/entry thing is no doubt caused by the new $5 parking ripoff fee It appears to be a backdoor method of running off events and patrons so the hippie lawyer mayor and his cronies can eventually justify their desire to do away with the fairgrounds. Somehow they believe their new downtown event center(under construction with taxpayer $$) will do the same job as the fairgrounds(but at a higher cost to event organizers and patrons) Sorry for the rant, but ***orted different events(racing, swaps, shows, flea markets, etc) at the fairgrounds have been a part of my life for 40+ years All that aside, I'll see you guys there

Getting closer, I still gotta go thru my junk - all I've drug out so far are two elcetric and 4-5 flex fans... As for the pissin & moanin, none of it ever really bothered me, it's just that the future of the fairgrounds has been on limbo for quite a while now so I guess everyone's kinda waiting for the other shoe to drop.
AND THE EXCITEMENT BUILDS!! Latest weather shows 40% rain but mild temps. Maybe it'll keep some of the Mustang/Camaro/Ricer townies, with strollers, at home. The early Ford/hotrod contingent is becoming a minority. BUT, I've NEVER failed to find a deal, or have a good sale day, in all the years. Bring your $$ to A79 and buy something, or least say Howdy.
I will be there and on the hunt for some hot rod parts for my jalopies. Look forward to it every year.

Dang straight. We leavin out about 4ish meetin Rucker and some of the Knuckleheads on 65 somewhere to eat. So holler at one of us and met up and eat.
