Shaved door wiring question

The less than stellar instructions show 12vdc power going into the "brain" of the kit. am I supposed to be running two hot wires from the battery?

 

One hot + from the batt
One Hot from the ignition switch

 

I actually found a better wiring diagram on the SPAL site than the one they give you with the kit. One hot to the box for the circuit board and a separate larger gauge wire for the solenoids. All good now!

 

Like Flat Foot says 2 batt and Ign hot to yellow, I'm with you why couldn't they just have 1 batt and 1 ign and do an internal jumper for the Solenoids, must been made in China?
