what is this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4556121694&category=6221
It's like one of those chicks that looks almost like Elizabeth Hurley or something, but has every detail just slightly off so she comes out looking ****-ugly. P.S. This is HillBillytheKid, damn Windows still has my brother logged in.
Jeez, where do you start? 1985 called and they want their streetrod back. Are those ladder bars on the front end?
I don't know what to think. There are things about it I like and things I don't. I can fix the things I don't like. It's definately got a round track feel to it, but there are some things that aren't working forme. Hell send it on over and I'll fix it up....
I for one don't think it's all that bad. Remove the fenders. Change the wheels and tires. Move the front axle back where it should be. Lower the grille shell two inches and lean it so it sits upright. (take the east-coast slant out of it.) Change the steering wheel to a three spoke Covico... If you're wanting to drag race it, leave the cage... if not, remove it. Drop a Chevy motor in it... and you're DONE. Sam.
true it can be fixed sam I was just saying in its current state it looks pretty um interesting. although the body looks to be in good shape
That thing is a diamond in the rough! Yeah its got some oddball sh!t on it, but all easily changeable. I'd cruise it after a slight revision.
nice. im telling ya its the next big word. ******* is already bigger than "da bomb" and is closing in on "bling"
I wonder if that roll cage is no joke? Maybe just maybe that little small block Ford can shove this truck into the 11's. If that's the case (which it probably is) then this truck looks great to me. A wheel and tire change for sure and a dark green color to it then you're done.
I'm gettin really worried about my 31 A on 32 rails project. Maybe some of you guys could knock out some rules so I can build it sorta official-like. God forbid I get a piece out of place and offend someone. Looking close, I see a lot of well done work on the truck in the pic. Sammy hit the nail on the head pretty well. Easy for him bein a pro carpenter and all None of it makes any difference though, it's not my truck and if the owner is happy with it, what the hell....
Just a mere change to big and little tires and steel wheels would improve the look and stance. Also would probably increase the value by several $K. We've seen a lot worse for a lot more $$$$$$. Take a look at his other auction. A '36 Ford Panel Delivery. This guy has a "thing" for raised white letter tires on hot rods . Again, a rim color change and black walls and the value increases significantly.
just another one of those ****ty things you see like a lowrider with all the crome redone in gold ......yuck
Steve was being a touch smart***, several of you newer guys, like the ones driving rusty 4 doors, should maybe sit back and shut up. Thats truck is the type of thing a guy like C9 or Sam or ElPolacko would ****** up super cheap, make a few changes, and end up with a killer little truck. Wheels and tires ditch the fenders and you are 90% there. The rest of you fence sitters would be divided in two camps. Half would be kissing the guys *** and the other half would be pissed they didnt have the foresight and skills to do it them selves.
I'd have to agree that it does look a tad ackward, just not quite right, but fixable. like said before though, I'm not driving it, so don't make no difference to me. Looks like the rear fenders are from a big truck though, anyone else notice that?
