So I got a mustang 2 front end for my 1950 Chevy fleet line I still have the 216-3 speed and I don't know how or what I can do as far as my clutch peddle because my break and clutch peddle run off the master now I got A FIRE WALL master cylinder and booster I'm just lost on the whole clutch Assembly. Any advice is well appreciated. Thanks

  2. Put in swinging peddles. Then use a hydraulic set up like say from an S-10 or the like.

Get your parts from 1-800 hot rod like you did your front suspension.

just use an old jeep master cylinder system. parts are cheap and plentiful. look into that if you don't know much about hooking up clutches. if you would rather go the cable route you can do that as well. there are plenty of threads on both of these topics. just use the search feature at the top and find whatcha need.

well it dident break its just the clutch and my break peddles run off the master cylinder and scene i got disc breaks and my master is going on my fire wall i don't know what i need to still be able to use my clutch

  7. He's ribbing you because of your spelling. Your car has "brakes" not "breaks"....unless it's broken, then it has both. BTW, they're pedals, not peddles unless you're selling them. Then you're peddling pedals.;):D
Spelling lesson over, time for recess

just leave the old master cyl to hold the floor pedal for the clutch....it probably won't matter after a while anyway as there will more than likely be a 350/350 in there, ....right?

there you go....I like the Cad plan
put a 455 Buick in a 50 Chevy in the 80s and it slipped in like it was made for it!

You don't have to change from the floor pedals just because you put in a MII front suspension. You would have to change the mastercylinder but there are kits for that and you wouldn't have that ugly junk hanging on the firewall along with not having to figure out how to reinforce the firewall so it won't flex or crack.
