A few weeks ago, Stacy Brown, of Antique Auto Supply in Arlington, TX., aquired one man's auto parts hoard. Not just your typical back room of the house hoard but several buildings of hoarding! This hoard actually took over the house, garage, large shop and several portable building hoard. Stacy then had an open house to try to sell off some of the hoard. Many NOS parts of all makes and models were included with probably a third of it '58-'59 Edsel parts.
Though I wasn't really needing anything in particular, I just loaded up the camera and my curosity and toured what Stacy had brought out into the open so far. This is just a mere tip of the iceberg!
Most everything here is still for sell and if interested, give Stacy a call @ 817/275-2381.

  11. yep....was there helping set some of the stuff back up....sure was a windy day....cheap bastards wouldn't give a $20 for a early 50's Chevy truck grill complete with the radiator support and good glass parking lites "has a little rust the guy said".....like Stacy said - used stuff is a hard sell - he can move all the "NOS" stuff easy on ebay....hate to think what might happen to some of the stuff....your right....sure was allot of Edsel parts....

Today Stevan & I were allowed to go through all the buildings while we looked for pieces for Stevan's '59 Edsel wagon project. Unfortunately, I didn't have my good camera, only my cell phone.

First, in one building, there was this stack of Edsel hubcaps.

And shelves loaded with Edsel instrument clusters.

    And more Edsel parts . . . . . . .

How about NOS rubber floor mats?

There were shelves of Foxcraft fender skirts. Someone had already carted off all of the '62 and older skirts. Stracy claimed it ammounted to a trailer load!

Spotted another shelf loaded down with NOS pistons.

    This NOS '53-'54 Chevy grill guard . . . . . .

    Then Stevan found these . . . . . .

  13. Never saw a 68 Coronet with skirts... Would've been different!

    And more Edsel horse collars.

    And Edsel taillight housings.

These shelves were stacked with shock absorbers, all NOS.

    Need this wheel?

There was this assortment of hubcaps.

And there was this old spotlight, though it wasn't an Appleton.

There were these two NOS doors, still sporting the straw packing material!

And more NOS fenders stashed in one outbuilding.

Not too sure what this old spare fit.

More old NOS sheet metal lined the old garage floor.

    And walls.

I ventured on into one room of the house and spotted this Motor Book library.

Soon after Stevan & I loaded up our pickings and headed for home. When I go back, I'll be sure to take more pics. Hope you enjoyed!

Absolutely WOW !!!!!!!! What you are saying about people being too cheap to pay a fair price for the parts is probably true. People moan and complain about needing some part and then when they see it they won't give the guy what it is worth. Restorers seem the worst at that, at least hot rodders and customizers will shake loose of a few bucks to get something they want.

    What a stash !

Some good stuff there. Some may take a long time to sell.

I could use that 60-61 rubber mat for my wagon.

Stacey has always been THE MAN when it comes to finding a broad range of parts for multiple make cars and trucks. The hunt begins, the treasure found, then bought and the real work begins...packing, moving, sorting, marking, stocking, and then the long term selling.
    Go get 'em, Stacey!
