    Hello my name is Erik.
I am working on a mild custom chevy 54. the plans are to (hopefully) have it on the roads in may 2012:).

    Some pics so far
#1 Is the car as it was when I bought it (No Engine or trans otherwise complete).

#2 Bought a chevy van -85 and took the engine and tranny(305/350), its mounted with Waltons fab engine mounts and home made bracket thats welded on original trans crossmember.

#3-5 Got a Saab 900 94-98 steering rack(If someone wonders). Home made brackets thats welded in the frame. its the saab original tie rods just slightly modified too avoid clearings issue and bumpsteer.

Neat. Was this a car sold new in Sweden, or did you import it?

  9. Hi Erik
Nice car, looks good. Are you happy with your rack? Looks like an easy mount! Where are you in Sweden?
Are you going to Trollhättan this weekend?

Thanks, The rack is great was a pretty easy install just had to offcenter it a little for clearing. outerwise just put it up.
I live on Öland. No I am not going to Trollhättan, going to Emmaboda on a swapmeet.

  11. Yeah it's something I should consider for my '53! Either that or a complete front end swap, like a jaguar ifs. Good luck at the swap meet.

    long time since update.:(

I have a talented student in my class, that made some pinstriping on the car.

I activated my mother in law to sew some new interior.

    I also bought new rims.
