For the first time in 15 years I missed going to St.Paul. Has anyone got any pictures of what was at Back to the '50's this year. Did the HAMBS make it out? Put a smile on an OG's face, show me what I missed.:)

This is ravwen61 and KCMongo reporting from the sound stage @ BTT50's. We're attempting to convert some of the raw images from my Nikon so we can post something.

We missed the Hamb meet yesterday but will be heading towards today's real soon.
We will keep you posted when details emerge...

  3. I started a thread with BTTF photos that I took on Friday. I was only there from 8:00 a.m. 'til noon so I didn't get a chance to see but a small part of what was there or yet to arrive.

    I'll move the thread "btt"....:)

Not much to report, Raven and i tried getting the software downloaded to open his pics from the Nicon but my battery died on my laptop, and downloads are really slow on my wireless broadband card here in MN.. He's got about 3 gig of pics I'm sure he'll post when we get back to KC.

We missed the HAMB crew at the Morten building earlier today.

    Later,
    Mongo

I was there and the goldchainer color of choice is yellow. It seemed like every fucking car there was yellow.

But there were some cool cars too. My favorite is that seafoam green model a sedan that people have been posting pics of. I plan to do my tudor similar to that one. I saw it getting striped too, it looked real cool.

That car was so sick! I wish I had met Eyeballs to grill him on it.

  16. I've made an observation about something over the years. People walk by $50,000+ customs and street rods and never turn their heads to take a look. I can't imagine how the owners, who are guarding their stuff from those lawn chairs, must feel.

Across the way there is an old 40's era midget race car on a trailer, maybe worth $10,000 at best, and there's a crowd around it. I waited a good 10 minutes just to snap a picture of it. :D
