Whats wrong with yours? I might have one but it depends on which heater style you have. Does your car have a long box on the outside of the p***enger side fire wall or does it just have a plate and the heater core tubes stick out?

  5. Its probaly just the heater flow control valve instead of a core...by p*** it and see.....

I bought a new one for my 58 El Camino at O'Reilly's auto parts for about 60 dollars
Ya may check any radiator suppliers such as Modine or www.Radiatorexpress.com
    Or www.radiator.com

If it ends up being the heater control valve, check with Old Air Products in Fort Worth Texas (www.oldairproducts.com). They've rebuilt two of the valves for me, and I've had excellent results. The one in my 60 has been it it since 1999 (cost $71) with no leaks or any problems at all. The one in my 59 has been in it since 2002, and hasn't leaked or had any problems either.

I cut my valve off and soldered a penny to the hole its been going for 5 years like that. I put a shut off valve inline with one of the hoses for summertime driving.
