Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Deuce-Merchant, Jan 10, 2012.

  1. Nice find ! I lived around Grand Forks when I was a kid and we were always looking for cool hot rod material, found lots of 48 to 59 gm trucks a few 567 chevy wagons and 4 doors but never a duece !. What history do you know?

Every time I return West "home" through the rockies to see the family, I drive through 650 miles of territory that has the potential for hiding such treasures. Any tips on how to see beyond the trees and barn walls?

    Congradulations, nice find.

    Doug.

A bit of history here....the builder of this car lived in New Westminster BC
and belonged to the Westrods car club as did I. He was gone by the time I joined the club in late 1959. He (his parents) lived about 5 houses from my
    New West girl friend.
About 3 years later the car ended up in my little town of White Rock , B.C.
about 18 miles south, right on the Canada/US border near Blaine Wash.
It sat at a house across the street from a buddy of mine for maybe a year or two then dissapeared.
I often wondered where it went.......now we know.....:)

Way to cool dude. Can't get over how they just keep turning up from dark places. Go find another one as you seem to be good at it...
