    These are just a few I took after setting up my RPU. Sorry about the B&W, didn't realize I had hit the effects ****on on this phone until I got home.

    Thanks Hotroddon. Keep em coming. Too bad the 41 Ford pickup pic was black and white, the paint on that is sick. I'm driving down from NorCal tomorrow.

    wasn't Gommi tub there last year (or yr before) in one of the side buildings.. same with zoochi car. or is it there for some special reason (builder of the year or ??)

    Thanks for sharing the pictures looking for forward to seeing more. (and how about a color shot of the Model A PU.. if you see it again)

    It was originally **** Bergren's car. He wanted a Roadster (to join the LA Roadsters) and Gammell had one to trade. Doyle sold it and Porter ended up with the car, installing a big block and a Corvette rear. Bob ran it pretty hard, as he did his life having had a few brushes with the law and a bit of time in the gray bar hotel. Tom Shifflea later owned it and painted purple with flames. When Bruce Meyer got it, he restored it to it's best known glory
    But it is pretty much known in infamy as the Doyle Gammell Coupe even though Doyle only had it a short few years. He has since built a clone of his own car!

    Still needs a roll pan. ;) Come by and take a closer look at mine tomorrow.
