Eric, you should remove the full exhaust from your Gold 55... It makes it look like a grocery-getter. But I suppose it performs like one too.

Here we go.....well...I am down one cylinder so it isn't a 301 its like a 270 now....should I pull one more plug wire off and make it a fair race? 240 cubes?

  4. less than 6 months to go... let the banter begin!

  5. is the truck with the eight carbs on it going to be there? i would like to race it with my eight carb hemi. we could have the first ever 32 barrel race.

  6. Which truck is that?

  7. I'm gonna try and make it down this year if I can get the Anglia done in time.

Lots to do: new engine, fuel system, cage, headers, etc...

My daughter also has a huge softball tournament that weekend. So, I may have to talk nice to the ladies of the house to get permission to go racin'. ;)

    Sounds like a great time!

  8. We are having a shoot out on Sunday. Two G***er groups going head to head.

I've always been "Deadline Oriented." My wife says I'm "Crisis Oriented."
Either way, looks like The Widow Wagon has to be done by July 15.

It still looks like this, but now I've got front seats and the rear seat out.

    Yikes.
    Lots to do!

Not to mention getting the Tow Pig up to snuff, including a trailer hitch and front disc brakes, and new hides and wiring for the trailer.

Holy ****. I better get to work.

Since I'll obviously be broke, I'll probably be camping at the track with Mrs. 54 and Boy Wonder. Any chance there are shower facilities there?

You've got the lettering done, and isn't that the most important part? :)

Eric, Gregg and Mike Bilna would be a nice side by side match up. I think they run really near the same e.t.
