OK. Here is what I have.. I have 3/8 x24 IFF female fitting on the end of my brake hose that I need to adapt to a 1/8 NPT female bulkhead fitting coming through my frame.
I can find adapters to change the bulkhead fitting from the 1/8 NPT to a -3AN male or fittings to change it to a 3/8 24 female.
I can find adapters to change the brake hose fitting to a -3AN male fitting but nothing else.
I can't find a union that will couple the two male -3AN fittings together if I change to those.
I can't find an adapter to couple the 3/8 female hose with the 1/8NPT
    female together.
I see the through the frame bulkheads with 1/8 NPT female on one end and -3AN male on the other end sold in many places. So what do people use to connect the -3AN male end to their 3/8IFF brake hoses?
I don't see why this should be so difficult. Seems like there are fittings for everything but this. I need the opposite of most adapters.
I would appreciate any ideas because I can't locate what I need.
I may have to just do away with the bulkhead through the frame and connect the brake line to the hose the old fashioned way with a tab under the frame but I don't want to.

I'll look In my do***ents to find the card off of the brake unions I got. I got all of my weird ***ed fittings, hoses and unions from a hole in the wall roundy round dirt track race Shop....they had an entire wall of every combination known to man (so I thought). It was a name brand as well....I'll edit the thread when I find it.

Thanks, I checked there. You would think if they don't carry it, then it does not exist. But surely, some one else has run into this before, its just a standard brake hose that I want to adapt to go through a bulkhead. Wish I had a lathe, I would make a couple.

Did you look at a local retailer that carries Earls Performance Plumbing. They help me out during my last brake upgrade.

You have a problem there as i don't see any adaptors that will go from 1/8npt (male) to 3/16 IFF (male), the 1/8npt to 3/16IFF (male) is a very common fitting but i don't see a male coupling to screw 2 female 3/16IFF together. Looks like you will need to transition to -AN stuff, with a -3AN 1/8npt male adaptor, a length of hose and and adaptor to connect to your wheel cyl/caliper. I work with this stuff all the time and if you need help shoot me a pm with the brake end sizing and hose length and i'll convert them into russel or aeroquip numbers so's you can order the right stuff the first time ok?

Well, I thought I could convert to -AN stuff. And I could if I could find a union to connect two AN males together. See, this is why I am not gay, things just don't work out well trying to connect two males or two females together....
I have already bought new hoses so I am going to try to make this work with adapters if I can.

Try a NAPA store. They handle Weatherhead fittngs and you should be able to find one.

I think I may have found what I need from Earls. The places I looked didn't have all of their products. It looks like Summit might have the adapter from Earls. Thanks for the tip.

    Make some. :D

These converted something like a 7/16" fine banjo to a conventional 3/16" inverted flare for a rear-disc conversion. 304 stainless, took me about two hours.

All you need is about $10,000 in machine tooling and a few years of experience. :D

    Doc.
