240 miles, and she drove and rode like a champ!! This is the first real trip I made in her since getting mechanically sound. I drove around a little bit and worked out the bugs on Thursday and friday, but no real freeway time or mileage. I was going to cancel the trip, but decided to enjoy the adventure...

Not much of an adventure, but an awesome trip. I was motoring along the I-15 at 65-75, staying with traffic without so much as a hiccup. Strong 360 Mopar and 904 Trans. Nothing flew off and no leaks whatsoever- pretty stoked. :)

Left East County early, saw Fuzzyknights ride while fueling up, Met up with Manuel in his 60 El Camino in North county , enjoyed the sunrise drive arrived at our destination and got in line for pre-registered vehicles by 8am. :D:D

The ride home was pretty much the same except for the usual LA traffic insanity. All in all, great show, saw some friends and had a great drive. Proud of the old girl, she treated us right! Enjoy some pics.

She looks good, good to hear all went well. That is always a stressful ride, the first real trip.

That's awesome first trip. Mine was the Sac Autorama a few years ago in my 49 Chevy and after I got over listening for every little noise and just enjoyed the drive it was pretty rad. For me, nothing beats the open road.

    Congrats.
