That place looks like the one used in "Death Proof" where the girls ditch the Mustang and steal the Challenger from the hick!!

I dig the shoes,... but man, Prada going hotrod? Are we that stylish and trendy??:p

Being in the beauty and increadibly expensive stuff industry, The increadible miss Judy has aready hipped me to this photo shoot... I took one look and said "Cool, that's Bad Bob's Merc, I hung out with him a bit at LARS this year..." Her reaction was "How come you know everybody!!!"

Not sure why this was closed... I think it's kind of cool in a weird off-beat way...

  9. That's exactly what I thought as well (the Deathproof part.) Cool stuff Bob.

Well, this is the weirdest thing I've seen all day. That location is really cool. Buffalo, two Mercs, a Chevy pickemup and the house of 1000 corpses house? Pretty neat.

  13. Bob, I like hot rods and I look pretty good naked.............for a fat old guy. I work cheap.

They wouldn't let me roam around, but there's also a crashed 707 or 747 there somewhere and a train with 8 cars, used for movies. There's also two western towns. It was a cool place.

What's that old saying? "Gotta strike while the iron's hot". I know just about all of you guys would jump at the chance to do this,if you got a call like "Vogue magazine wants to shoot with your car!". AND! you are gonna get paid to do it!
I'm NOT embarr***ed to say it's cool, cause my car isn't the kind of car that gets used for stuff like this. It's usually exotic cars...

    Such a cool thread.

I dig the photo shoots - my favorite part of these cars is the aesthetics. Your Merc just fits the bill perfectly.

How could this thread possibly be OT? It has Bob's Merc and another Merc just waiting to be hot rodded.

No,they left it on. I thought they would photoshop it out,but nope. Funny thing is...you can tell it says Bad Bob. They never mention the guys name who is supposed to own it,in the story line.

  27. Did you meet Aaron Eckhart? He's been in a bunch of movies.

Can you share the storyline of the commercial?

I sat next to him at lunch. He was studying the script for "I Frankenstein" and was practicing the drums for a Beach Boys movie. I took a pic with my phone and sent it to my son,"Hey i'm having lunch with Two-face,from Batman!". He was really cool.

The story line was...the girl was having an affair with Aaron Ackhart, and my Mercury was his "BABY". They actually had a script/story for them to follow for inspiration. I thought it was odd to hear them talking while doing a photoshoot, not a movie or video.
