Buick Wildcat Wheels

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Mitchell de Moor, Jan 29, 2012.

  1. Hey,

So I know this may be a couple years away from the HAMB, but plans would be to make it a mild kustom. So here goes. I found a 1966 Buick Wildcat for sale but would need some wheels/tires to store it on. Don't want anything fancy just something for outdoor storage. What would bolt up to it?

For example I have late model Crown Vic. wheels on my '56 Ford right now as it sits.

What would be a cheap option??

    Thanks guys!!!

It will take something with a 5 on 5 bolt pattern. The Ford wheels will not fit.

  3. Thanks!

I wasn't planning on putting Ford wheels on. I was just stating an example on how my other car sits.

Those Chevy truck/Astro Van wheels will do the trick and will clear the disc brakes as they are 15". They actually look good painted with 5x5 spiders if you can find them.

  5. Thanks! Just need something to store it on. Eventually when I get money I would be running reversed Cragars.

Nice choice, definately reversed, or perhaps Astros?

  7. I have been wanting to do a '7O's style lolo with reversed Cragars for a long time now. I like Supremes but I wouldn't run them on the Wildcat if I got it.

Riviera's in the mid '60's used a styled chrome wheel that were 5x5 and many fullsize Buicks and even Chevy pickups got them. Don't have pics but maybe someone does and can post them.
