I'll just let the pictures do a little talking (then I'll chime in): The story goes something like this: I went to preview a 48 Cadillac Fleetwood (always been a Cadillac man - currently own a 54 Series 62 Coupe and a 64 Sedan DeVille), and found this gem sitting in the garage under a cover. Frank, a 92 year-old former B17 pilot, wasn't planning on selling the 47, but after a couple of weeks of talking he decided to let her go to a new home. I've spent the weekend bringing her back to life (she'd been sitting for quite a while), and for now there's really not a solid plan for what I'm going to do... ...except tires. I'm toying with the idea of lowering her a few inches, but haven't done my research (that's later tonight).
Man that's nice. That's the Cadillac of all Buick's right there! lol. I'd just drive it the way it is!
WOW very nice! somebody took loving care of it.The inside photo is like a going back in time. Congratulations great score.
no car has ever been made that was more natural with the two tone paint. I have 2 sedanettes a 47 super and a 48 roadmaster which is the same as the super from the firewall back but the hood and fenders are a full 18 inches longer, along with 8 inch wheel base. yours is the best I've seen
The car and the composition of the pics are superb. When do we get to see more? I have a '47 Super sedanette, convertible, and a sedan parts car. They are all waiting their turn in line to get done. I may just steal that paint combo! ( I can't tell for sure but I presume your's is a Super?)
