My '63 and '67 both have 5 on 5 1/2" pattern, but I've seen the 5 on 4 1/2" pattern on some 63's as well. Never take anything for granted on the old IH trucks.

Simple formula on the wheel bolt patterns. From the 1940's on, the 2WD 1/2 tons thru '68 were 5 on 4-1/2. The 1/2 ton 4x4's thru '68 were 5 on 5-1/2. The 3/4 tons and 1 tons were 6 on 7-1/4 bolt circle. After 68 the 2WD half tons went to a bigger bolt circle, but I'm not sure which one.

Alright thanks guys! My old shop teacher has it all he told me was it was a 55 international flatbed truck with a inline 6 and 3 on the tree. Said its pretty clean with a little rust. Was running but doesn't currently. He wants $1200 plan on going to see it next week and taking pics. Was asking about bolt patterns cause I have a nice pair of 15x7 5x5 1/2 reversed early ford wheels with matching normal fronts I've been dying to put on something. Was hoping they would fit. How hard are beds to come by? This is the only one of these in my area, scrap guys are nuts here and have gotten alot of the old cars.

I forgot about this one,I bought it for parts for the one above but couldn't do it.I put a battery an fresh gas and it ran perfect.Put some tires on it and added some fluid for the dump bed and she can go back to work after 30 years of being buried. You just can't kill these trucks.I did find another for parts on a farm outside of town that wasn't worth saving.

Hey, International Truck guys, I got 2 hoods, '53-54 R100 and R110, if anybody needs one, I'll let them go for super cheap! One has some really nice bright red re-paint, the other is in primer. No rust, all original.
Anybody coming down to Austin for the Round Up I can take them out there for ya.
    thanks

I will post some pics of my 52 L-110. I am droppin the body down on my 91 S10 frame. I know what some say about the frame being to short to wide all that jazz. I am STILL gonna build it. I already have the S10 rolling chassis with a punched out 350/700R4 trans, 3000 stall with shift kit, solid motor mounts. The chassis already sits low. I grew up on the farm with all red tractors. Farmall's and IH was it. RED POWER. I will probably sell the IH chassis. Why not, everything is good on it. I just like the V8 power and the ride of the S10. My dream has always been to own one, now I do. I can't wait to get her finished.

There are local ordinances about the size and location of advertising signs that are very restrictive and make advertising very expensive. To get around it, a local restaurant painted ads on a couple of late 20's model Fords, a late 40's model Chevy PU and an early 50's International. You never see any of them moving but they are always parked in different places. Pretty smart if you ask me since they always catch your eye.

My old '56 S-110. This was the first old vehicle I built/learned on. Sold it off to start my new project.

Im thinking about this 59, and am wondering if the step sides had the wood floor or a steel bed floor? Thanks

Well, It's not a pick-up, but it is an old IHC workhorse.

This is my second. Wish I still had the first. First one I did all the restoration myself. This one I bought "restored" at a premium restored price, and it ain't. Previous owner spent a fortune on it and considering how much he spent, I got a bargain. Intending to add additional fuel tanks (currently it does have two), receiver type trailer hitch, HD bumpers with the front one set up for a winch, Holley carb conversion on the BG240 L6 engine, full luggage rack, and most important, significant sound proofing. Right now you can't carry on a conversation with the passenger. After 30 miles of driving, your hearing is muffled for an hour after.
