I am in need of someone who can restore a very rough 1937 Mississippi truck plate. It has been repainted so the color match will be an issue. I intend to have the plate registered to the truck so I need a correct color reproduction. Any recommendations?

I was just looking at plates restored by finishyourplates on ebay. I've never used his service and I don't know him, so I can't really say anything else, but the ones he has for sale look nice.

  3. Be careful. In some states, they won't let you use a plate if it has been painted. Regardless of whether or not it makes it better & more lgible than it was. Ridiculous, I know.

Try www.tagdr.com I've used him in the past. Quality work and fair price. Check the website and email him. Also, MS will allow the use of a re-painted and/or restored tag.
