I found Squeeg's website and e-mailed him because I really like the color of that roadster, too. If I get a reply, I'll post.

Saw a very similar color on a Buick or Pontiac, 40's car, it was called Toronto Blue.

Ironically I saw a greyhound bus this morning and it sports this color as well

Could not find Washington blue on any of the Porsche websites

Thanks for the leads. Need to start painting some of the small parts and would like to get some paint ordered

Washington Blue is a Ford color. Try 1931 model A or 1936 Ford.

  17. I was goung to say Washington Blue myself but I am currently working on a '46 Lincoln that is Washington Blue that is a shade or two darker than that. Of course either could be what you get when you buy Washington Blue, a lot depends on who mixes and who's formula they use.

I concur. I think Washington Blue is a bit darker.

This car tested with the Paint Sotres color matching machine as a Issuzu Trim color on the Omni Line. I have now sprayed it and it is amazingly close.

Got this e-mail from Doug at Squeeg's and he said it was OK for me to post it here.

"Sorry, there is no paint code for this particular color, as it is our own color. We wanted it to look like Washington Blue, but we felt that it would look like too dirty of a color for this build, so we mixed our own."

I think they should get this color patented or whatever you do about colors. Call it "Squeegs Blue"
