Well, a friend and I took a two day road trip to Brookville Ohio to check out the Body of Steel plant.
Awesome weather (60*) and good trip. A needed mid winter shot in the arm on cool cars!
My friend is considering something like this, so he wanted to see the quality and bodies in person.
I was very impressed with the place. We had called ahead, so the were expecting us, but were very gracious and friendly.
Great tour and learned a lot.
Here are a few pics of a couple cars in their show room...
(And yes, before all the self appointed police get all riled up, many folks on hear have used parts from them, as well as other companies, including fibergl***)

No, the owners were gone to a show I think out west, and took a bunch of finished cars with them...

We did head to the Air Force Museum in Dayton though, and spent a few hours there...
    Talk about awesome stuff.
I took a bunch of pictures and explanations/specifications of the older radial engines, and some huge others, but as they are not HAMB friendly, won't post them here.
    Cheers...........

Me and a buddy of mine went there last fall to pick up a model a frame for my 30 ford truck. We went into the back where they store the parts and put the bodies together. We met an older white haired man that reminded me of Santa. He was a cool old man. He took us on a short tour of the building. I was in heaven, I couldn't believe all the stuff they had. They can take a cart down the ilses were the parts are stored and put together a fresh body. Everyone that can should go take the tour.

The white haired "Santa" is Chuck . He`s been a lot of help during my `29 build. Kenny and Chuck are both great guys and the employees are always helpful when needed.
Cool place to visit especially the back room with the original cars.

Wow I guess I'm going to have to take the trip sense I only live about 7 miles from there. I see them at all the shows, but never been to their shop.
